Tsunami Disaster Preparedness

At Ohki Dental Clinic, ensuring the safety and security of our patients and staff is a top priority. In addition to maintaining high standards in dental treatment and implementing comprehensive infection control measures, we also recognize the importance of preparedness for natural disasters.

Ohki Dental Clinic in Suzuka is located approximately 300 meters from the coastline. In the event of a major earthquake, flooding caused by a 1 to 2-meter tsunami is anticipated. Learning from the devastating and unforeseen damages of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, we completed the construction of our dedicated Tsunami Evacuation Tower in April 2021.
